How does a BBA membership benefit your business?
A BBA membership can help increase your profits, because customers view your business more favorably. When a small business is a chamber of commerce member, consumers are 80% more likely to purchase goods or services from the business in the future.
The BBA has many marketing venues to help promote your business, including their website, social media, community events, and print advertising. The BBA likely has a larger following than your business, so any exposure gained as part of your membership can be beneficial.
The BBA acts as a voice for the common interest of the local business community. We are aware of local business and community events and are in contact with local decision makers. The City of Bellaire, its police department and some of its City Council members are members of BBA.
By associating with other business professionals through BBA you can have greater access to information and resources to improve the ways you do business.
Following Hurricane Harvey, we’ve all grown a bit more sensitive to the needs of others and the ever present chance that we may suddenly become the disadvantaged. The BBA supports certain community organizations and acts to channel information to local businesses and professionals about the many ways your business or you personally can sponsor and support local non-profit organizations.
It’s good to know those who work and live around us. From those acquaintances come the pleasures of social contact as well as opportunities for personal and professional enrichment. We sponsor regular breakfast, luncheon and after hours events. BBA Board or committee memberships offer opportunities to work more closely with member professionals.
