About The Enrichery Founded in 2015 by Sarah Seitz, a former teacher, The Enrichery is an academic tutoring service that empowers students and their families to set, reach, and celebrate academic milestones.
We started as a one-woman operation in a cozy, 200-square-foot office space, but we quickly evolved into a robust team of educators looking to change the next generation.
With experienced tutors and college admissions counselors, our team is proficient in empowering students of all ages to achieve academic success. Speaker: Constable Al Rosen, Harris County Constable Precinct 1 and Chief Onesimo "Mo" Lopez, Belaire Police Department
Constable Al Rosen: Constable Rosen has been an outspoken leader when it comes to providing the resources and training for the men and women of law enforcement. Under Constable Rosen, Precinct One was the first county agency to issue body cameras to officers. He tapped private donors for more bulletproof vests and Tasers for officers and made sure training for active shooter events was enhanced while creating a Precinct One and Tactical Response Team (SWAT).
Chief Onesimo "Mo" Lopez: Chief Onesimo "Mo" Lopez began his tenure with the City of Bellaire in January, 2019. Chief Lopez was brought on board after a nationwide search for an Assistant Chief for the department. Prior-Chief Byron Holloway intentionally wanted to select a candidate that would be able to make the transition from Assistant Chief to Chief and maintain the legacy of relationships and service he built during his tenure.
Chief Lopez has 24 years of prior law enforcement and administrative experience with a Houston-area agency. In that time he has held positions in Patrol, Criminal Investigations and Police Administration. Chief Lopez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration as well as a Master Peace Officer License. Chief Lopez is a graduate of Class #56 of the Bill Blackwood Leadership Command College and Session #279 of the FBI National Academy.
Speaker: Dr. Raymond Brown and Diane Brown, Houston Community College
Topic: Houston Community College has launched an artificial intelligence (AI) Associate of Applied Science degree program, making it the first community college in Texas to have such a program. Dr. Brown will speak about the impact Artificial Intelligence (AI) has on the small business community. Joining Dr. Brown will be Diane Brown.
Diane Brown, wife of program coordinator Raymond Brown, is a volunteer in the department as the industry liaison for the college to the business community and supports the AI and robotics programs through a nonprofit called X-Lab.

Speaker: Robert Stein, Rice Kinder Institute - Politics / Urban Research
Topic: Professor Stein is an expert on voting and elections, urban politics, public policy emergency preparedness and severe weather mitigation. His current research, funded by the Arnold Foundation, Pew Charitable Trusts and the National Science Foundation focuses on voting behavior, election administration and emergency preparedness. Since 2000, Stein has collaborated with an interdisciplinary group of researchers in computer science and civil engineering to study how individuals prepare for and respond to severe weather emergencies. He has collaborated with several states and local governments in the design and implementation of voting systems.
